Don Omura
Board Member
As CEO, Don Omura is focused on TRM’s business strategy, growth, and strategic relationships. Don has been instrumental in the company’s transformation into a provider of cloud-based asset management and Internet of Things solutions.
His previously held positions at TRM include President, Chief Operations Officer and Executive Vice President of Pacific Operations.
Prior to joining TRM, in 1999, Don was the Director of Information Technology for the Navy Public Works Center in Hawaii where he oversaw all aspects of information technology, including strategic planning, corporate business systems, IT infrastructure, and outsourcing. In 1998, he received the Navy’s Meritorious Service Award for his contributions in the IT field.
Don holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jagadisan “Shiva” Shivakumar
Board Member
As President of TRM, Jagadisan Shivakumar spearheads the development of the company’s technical vision and oversees its research and development efforts. From legacy systems, ERP platforms and proprietary software development, to the deployment of leading edge web architecture technologies, the TRM R&D team bridges the gap between business problems and technical solutions. Under Shiva’s direction, their efforts have contributed significantly to TRM’s track record of innovation.
Before joining TRM, Shiva worked for Intergraph Corporation in a variety of technology roles. His broad experience includes software development, database programming, technology management and project management, as well as mentoring and team leadership.
Shiva has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and M.S. degrees in Operations Research (University of Pennsylvania) and Computer Science (Pennsylvania State University).
Bala Balasubramanian
Board Member
Bala Balasubramanian currently serves as Chairman of Karya Technologies, based in Blue Bell, PA with an offshore development center in India.
Over the past 40 years Bala has worked as a Software Entrepreneur in Philadelphia, PA and founded several software companies, employees thousands of people. He currently holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
