IBM has officially achieved FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) authorization for IBM Maximo & TRIRIGA.  This achievement brings the first and only FedRAMP certified Maximo Cloud solution to Federal Agencies and commercial entities with heightened cloud and security requirements.

Total Resource Management, Inc. worked in partnership with IBM to plan, design and build the infrastructure needed to develop the federal cloud Maximo EAM solution offering and complete its authorization process.

Over the course of 18 months, thousands of man hours of support were dedicated to completing the required certification and accreditation effort. It involved the development and execution of a comprehensive System Security Plan (SSP) that clearly articulated policy, processes, procedures, resources, infrastructure, tooling, etc. to ensure the standards and compliance for the 325 controls in the FedRAMP Moderate Impact Level baseline would be met and validated by a 3rd Party Assessment Organization (3PAO).

IBM’s authorizing agency, the US Customs & Border Patrol, and 3rd Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), Coalfire Systems, Inc., determined that IBM Maximo & TRIRIGA met these standards.

This solution differentiates from other FedRAMP infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings in that it also includes Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) which makes this Maximo and TRIRIGA cloud service offering the only end-to-end solution in the marketplace.
