TRM Learning Philosophy
TRM recognizes that, in order for Maximo® Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) projects to be successful, three things must occur at the end-user level:
End-users, those people who will use the system on a day-to-day basis, must have a clear understanding of the What, Why, When, and Who of the project:
- What: What is Maximo? What Maximo functionality will be used?
- Why: Why is the organization making this change? “What’s in it for me?”
- When: When will the changes take place?
- Who: Who will be impacted by the changes?
Acceptance of the change is more than just a shrug or lack of complaint. Training that is targeted on-time and relevant to each user assures the user that:
- The change is important to the business and higher-level management is dedicated to its success.
- Management understands the importance of the end-user to the success of the project and has invested in the end-user.
- Maximo is a tool that will allow the end-user to get the job done faster, easier and better.
Adoption of the new tools and methods occurs when end-users:
- Incorporate them into their every day practices
- Look for new venues in which to apply the solution
- Recruit others to the new way of doing business.
Our goal is to facilitate swift understanding, acceptance and adoption from Maximo end-users.
