Maximo SaaS for Maintenance Service Providers
March 30, 2011
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

Join us for an eye-opening webinar. Rethink how you access the technology you use to provide maintenance service to your clients. The straight-up business appeal of an EAM/CMMS delivered in a SaaS model for Maintenance Service Providers.

George Korte, VP TRM
Jim Miwa, Director of Systems Engineering, TRM

As an Asset Management Service Provider, Maintenance Service Provider, or Base Operations Support Services contractor, your mission is to provide ongoing and on-demand support services your clients.  Everything from contingency logistics to operations and maintenance of critical assets, facilities and IT.

Demanding the best, flexible, scalable integrated asset and service management technology.
Have you considered how using the world’s leading EAM system – Maximo – in a SaaS or hosted monthly subscription model could dramatically improve your bottom line?

  • Bid on upcoming contracts without upfront capital investments in an EAM system (you can purchase SaaS subscriptions after contract award, limit the expense to the term of the contract, and often recover the expense as a direct pass-through contract cost)
  • Stand-up your EAM system in minimal time (especially important when your contract start-up period is short)
  • Eliminate the need to hire a specialized EAM system administrator(s) and user support person(s)
  • Handle fluctuating user counts without costly investments in licenses
  • Focus your organization on delivering services, not maintaining and upgrading IT systems

Learn why RulesManager is the only comprehensive system for managing and configuring Maximo
January 20, 2011
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST

Come see RulesManager in a brand new light.

Join us for a 1-hour live demo and webinar to learn why:

RulesManager is the only comprehensive system for managing and configuring Maximo.

  • Simpler
  • Faster
  • Unified

With the release of Maximo 7, additional tools were built in to help configure Maximo; however these can prove to be cumbersome, create configuration management nightmares and when used extensively can hamper performance.

How do Conditional Expression, Workflows and Escalations compare?

Conditional Expression can do "baby stuff" - like read only, required, hiding fields, changing colors.  When your scope begins to creep and your requirements become complex, you will face difficulties.  Conditional Expression forces you to enter several different modules to complete your requirements - storing configuration changes all over Maximo - making configuration management an unwieldy, manual process.

And, if there is an issue, you cannot turn off a single Conditional Expression to pinpoint the problem.  RulesManager, on the other hand, is a comprehensive system which stores all rules in an XML file that can be completely deactivated - or singular/groups of rules can be deactivated.  Your configuration management and trouble-shooting is inherent in the design.

Workflow and Escalations are tools designed to send tasks and communications through a defined process, but not to control complex relationships and tasks built off data changes within those relationships.  When used to implement custom business logic (validation, cross population and complex decision branching) users can suffer dramatically due to the "asynchronous" nature of Workflow events and the database strain.

RulesManager is the only Maximo solution which evaluates all conditions and business rules at the point of use, i.e. Rules fire and screens are immediately updated as one would expect from a web-based application.

And, these are just some of the tools that RulesManager brings to the daily and lifecycle management of Maximo.  RulesManager brings interface and bridging capabilities, iron-clad data integrity, data migration, and rapid application development capabilities - all while never altering the base code of Maximo.

Join us for a 1-hour demo to see how RulesManager functions compared to built-in Maximo tools for relatively simple requirements and you'll see the value RulesManager can bring to your Maximo system.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Webinar.

RulesManager New Features and Real-Life Examples of Making Maximo Work for You!
Andy Mahen, Senior RulesManager Programmer
Al Johnson, VP Product Development
September 15, 2010
2:00 – 3:00 pm EST

RulesManager 4.2 has been recently released and this is your opportunity to check out how RulesManager can configure Maximo; help manage the lifecycle of Maximo; make interfacing with other systems easier, and maintain pristine data.

RulesManager lets you configure simple or complex Maximo behavior and functionality, with a real-time awareness of the state of Maximo and the context of the user — all without affecting the underlying Maximo code base. Making Maximo perform almost as a Web 2.0 application:

What does this mean? Join our demo and see how RulesManager can (for example):

  • Filter search pages dynamically – based on the users' security roles
  • Pull a random asset sampling based on current location for surprise inspections
  • When a work order is changed to OPEN, send out an XML file to a group of users (techs).
  • On Service Request (based on the Asset Type, Site, Manufacturer that was entered) make it so that only valid Status Options can be selected (also taking into account the current status). If an invalid status option is selected, an error message listing valid status options would be generated.

Don't miss this opportunity to bring your biggest Maximo challenges to us!
