"Here in the Army, and particularly at Fort Eustis, we're always looking to improve business profit while saving taxpayer money," says Brenda Murphy, an Army information specialist involved in developing the new facility management system. "TRM was able to meet these needs to keep the government, Fort Eustis and our contractors all happy at the same time. They were able to mesh all parties' needs as we took three systems down to one, single point of entry system. This has brought efficiency to everything we do." "TRM was able to quickly shift focus to meet the dynamic nature of the Navy's PWC world. In-depth analysis and problem-solving occurred at every step, especially as we dealt with emerging requirements," said Ken Kelly, NAVFAC Assistant CIO for Navy PWCs. "TRM's engineering consulting services are outstanding and have proven to be a key component to our successes to date," Lisa Abad, NAVFAC's Maximo program manager. "The bigger challenge for us is anticipating, consulting and communicating requirements of which we may not be fully aware. I expect the consultants we bring on board to deliver something new and different leading-edge technologies, as well as creative solutions to unexpected situations. I rely on TRM for the quality and expertise of the people. The expectations are set high, and TRM has always delivered for us," said a FISC fuel analyst. The Department of Education piloted the Maximo implementation supported by TRM with 167 schools on the island of Oahu. Within the first six months, the DOE's backlog of repairs for these schools dropped by more than half, from 3,000 to 1,200, and nearly 90% of all work orders were addressed within the required time frames. "I'm seeing the immediate benefits of this systems and am receiving positive feedback from a lot of people. I'm excited to reap all of the benefits that Maximo and TRM can bring to my schools," said Gilbert Chun, acting director of the Accountability Branch, DOE. "Total Resource Management helped us identify the many job functions that would benefit from using Maximo, and there were many more than we initially thought. TRM recommended several steps to realign our business processes," said Tom Herrmann, Blue Bell purchasing agent. "The changes truly empower our remote users. Positive results were almost immediate with the elimination of many manual processes. Blue Bell's and TRM's businesses are very aligned. They make an excellent partner." "Total Resource Management provided critical data and best practice recommendations for performance benchmarking, application tuning, business practice modifications, capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades," said Tom McDermott, NYPA Director of Performance Engineering. "My hat's off to the TRM Team. I was impressed with TRM's problem resolution process during the go-live week, and how well activities and processes were organized," said John Hopkins, PWC Washington Maximo project manager. "The response BGE received - the dedication and commitment from TRM employees - is admirable. Based on this project, I would say that TRM is committed to its clients. I would definitely recommend and work with TRM in the future," Brian Jacoby, BGE project manager, Maintenance Management Systems.
