Job Title: Senior Implementation Specialist

Position Description:
IT Technical Specialist working in a project team environment to support application configuration/customization, data migration, report development, and systems engineering tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and identify software requirements from the customer and work with the customer to prioritize the requirements
  
• Generate the system design to meet the requirements
  
• Work with the developer to communicate the requirements and suggested design
  
• Monitor status and communicate status to the project manager and the customer
  
• Participate in status meetings and produce action items
  
• Troubleshoot user questions concerning the software and processes
  
• Communicate the customer's requirements to the developers
  
• Help test the customized Maximo application to ensure it meets the customer’s requirements
  
• Support Maximo training classes
• Generate training material
• Support go-live efforts

Required Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials:

• 2-4 years experience in software applications
  
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related field
  
• Six (6) years experience with software applications may be substituted for formal education.
  
• Programming experience strongly desired in any of the following: Java, C++, .NET, JavaScript
  
• Knowledge of:
  - Microsoft Office products - Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
  - Operating systems - Win2000/2003 Server, XP. UNIX a plus
  
• Database experience (Oracle/SQL Server) preferred
  
• Experience with IBM Maximo 5.2 and 6 a plus

Misc:

• Travel to other TRM offices and customer sites required. (up to 60% travel)
