Job Title: Database Developer/Maximo Consultant (with strong DBA background)
Location: Alexandria, VA

Position Description:
A mid level Oracle Database programmer that is looking to branch out into Maximo Enterprise Application consulting and development. Position will include standard Database programmer duties as well as Maximo consulting tasks such as configuring Maximo and providing functional expertise. Position will also require mastery of TRM’s RulesManager application.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom scripts to assist with data loading and data manipulation
  
• Design & develop data transformation scripts for loading of denormalized operational data store from a variety of transactional data sources.
  
• Design & develop database configuration, triggers stored procedures, data mappings and scripts for legacy data conversion
  
• Provide professional documentation
  
• Be willing to learn the Maximo functionality and how to configure the application.
  
• Be willing to learn how to develop Maximo customizations using TRM’s RulesManager product
  

Experience, Education and Credentials:

• 4 year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics is required.
  
• 2- 5 years experience writing SQL, have worked loading data into oracle and be familiar with oracle export and import procedures.
  
• Proven experience in administration and management in a large Oracle Applications environments.
  
• Experience with Oracle version 9.2.x and Apps version 11.5.9 and up a plus.
  
• Substantial Oracle Database Administration technical expertise with solid background in
• Oracle performing: administration, monitoring, development, and backup/recovery.
  
• Significant expertise in applying patches and cloning environments.
  
• Solid in Unix and scripting. Linux experience a plus.
  
• Effective communication skills are critical, both written and oral.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, code and instance tuning and debugging.
  
• Experience with backup/recovery support and administrative practices
  
• Familiar with Unix and DOS. Nice to have unix and dos scripting
