Don Omura, Chief Operations Officer

Don Omura recognized that he was dealing with a company that had a different focus on enterprise asset management solutions when he first encountered TRM as a client with the US Navy. Since joining TRM in 1999, he has overseen the significant expansion of TRM’s operations in the western United States and Asia. Don also leverages his extensive experience with government and Department of Defense asset and resource management projects. Today his responsibilities include business strategy, products and services delivery, and business development. Based in Hawaii, he adds a global perspective to the management team.

Prior to joining TRM, Don was the director of information technology for the Navy Public Works Center in Hawaii where he oversaw all aspects of information technology, including strategic planning, systems implementation, e-commerce, enterprise asset management, network infrastructure, data warehousing and outsourcing. In 1998, he received the Navy’s Meritorious Service Award for his contributions in the IT field.

Don holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
